Traditional aid is based on the concept that if someone is ill, a doctor will be sent. If a doctor is sent to work for a few months, that person will be able to treat a few hundred people. However, a local doctor can treat thousands during his or her professional life. Our research shows 80 % of our graduated students increase the family income and 60 % pays school fees for at least one sibling. Through crowdfunding, Help to Help enables scholarships to university students in East Africa. Students who otherwise would not get the opportunity to study. We call this the Help to Help-effect.
