Akasha Agency is a consultancy practice founded by Juri Wawra with a focus on aligning developed world company resources and capabilities with opportunities in emerging markets in Asia and Africa that are capable of creating significant social, economic and environmental impact. Juri has been specialising on market entry strategies for young enterprises in Europe, Asia and Africa that create poverty alleviating products and services. In the past he has lead an SBU in the production and retail distribution of natural and organic health- and personal care products and co-founded a start-up that worked on the development of a monitoring and load management tool for decentralised renewable energy systems. Juri earned an MBA with Merit from Warwick University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in the Comparative Study of Religions from the University of London, SOAS.
