New York State has an aggressive climate action plan, including among the most ambitious and comprehensive climate and clean energy legislation globally. At the same time, key technologies are not presently available in the US market.

The private and public supported Global Climate Foundry, lead by urbs and Impact Hub NY Metropolitan Area will be a catalyst for climate action in New York. The accelerator and showcase will be a ‘collision’ of technologies to demonstrate solutions for decarbonization of the real estate sector in NY that are economically viable, help tackle perceived risks and public perception, and supports the political objectives for NY and beyond.

We are inviting Nordic enterprises to join the Global Climate Foundry, a cleantech showcase and accelerator program to highlight their solutions while also accessing new markets to contribute to the de-carbonization of New York and the US.

This event will be held in collaboration with Innovation Norway, Consulate General of Sweden in New York, Royal Norwegian Consulate General New York, Consulate General of Iceland, Business Finland, Nordic Innovation House, International Cleantech Network, Hines and NYSERDA.
