CB-FOOD UK
Central Baltic Export Special Food to the UK
Opening the UK market for 80 Nordic and Baltic food SMEs through market intelligence, B2B matchmaking, and guided trade missions.
Programme Overview
CB-FOOD UK is a cross-border programme that helps food and beverage SMEs from the Central Baltic region break into the UK market. With dedicated market intelligence, curated B2B meetings, and hands-on trade mission support, we take the guesswork out of international expansion.
Impact Hub Stockholm leads the Swedish partnership, delivering market analysis and trade facilitation services that connect Baltic and Nordic food producers with UK buyers, retailers, and distributors.
Through 12 cutting-edge MOOCs, hands-on workshops, and the creation of 6 regional Innovation Clusters, AWAKEN equips female entrepreneurs with digital skills, business strategy, and peer networks. At the same time, we train the educators and mentors who support them — creating a multiplier effect that outlasts the programme itself.
The Challenge:
Small and medium food producers across the Baltics and Nordics create exceptional products but face significant barriers to reaching the UK market — from regulatory complexity post-Brexit to limited access to buyer networks and trade channels.
