According to the World Health Organization mental health and substance use disorder affects 13% of the world’s population and anxiety and depression are the most common mental illnesses. This imposes a tremendous burden on the social and economic wellbeing of individuals, families and societies at large.

Help us talk more about mental health and join the conversation “Getting personal: Wellbeing for Changemakers” on the 25th of May between 5:00 – 6:30 PM (CET). It will be a conversation about ´the personal dimension of the changemaker journey. We have invited our guest participant Oren Ipp, who is the founder of The Changing Room and he will be introducing this topic.

About Oren Ipp:

Oren has been working in the service of others for over 25 years. He has spent many years in foreign aid, designing, managing and evaluating multimillion-dollar programs in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Now, Oren focuses on personal transformation as a driver of social change. With his The Changing Room initiative, he helps activists, entrepreneurs, and innovators on their journey to do good and do well and be well.

This includes coaching a global fellowship of social innovators transforming conflict in their own communities (the GATHER fellowship); facilitating group sessions on wellbeing for social entrepreneurs  and supporting individual impact startups that work on everything from conscious consumption to youth empowerment.
