Our food system is in urgent need of innovation and transformation. This is true in Sweden, but may be even more important in other parts of the world. The way we grow, distribute, package and process our food matters. It affects our environment, our farmers, rural development and even local economies. Our choices can contribute to environmental destruction, global pollution and waste; or we can take our meals and turn them into opportunities.

In September, we are proud to introduce you to three incredible organizations whose international operations improve lives by advocating for more nutritious food, by changing the course of unsustainable global agriculture, and by creating new economic opportunities for the world’s most disadvantaged communities by exchanging plastic packaging for digital currency.

Doors open at 17:30 and we invite you to bring food to share – a new and innovative brand you’ve discovered or even something homemade! Then at 18.00 we will kick off the night by introducing #SthlmFoodMovement and hear from our wonderful speakers about their experiences and challenges in creating a better society using food as the vehicle for change. Stay with us afterwards to foster new friendships, connections and opportunities for collaboration.
