Before you go on holidays, set up your Virtual Office
7 June 2020 - Jesper Kjellerås

National travel restrictions within Sweden will be lifted as of June 13. The change requires people to continue taking responsibility, but the danger is not over and people must continue to follow social distancing recommendations. If the curve trends upwards, Sweden’s Prime Minister, Stefan Löfven, says that new restrictions will be put into place. The Minister for Health and Social Affairs, Lena Hallengren, says that anyone with symptoms who is thinking of traveling should get tested first. Several parts of Sweden are now entering a late pandemic phase but businesses are looking forward to the change, especially those in the tourism industry.

In response to this development, Impact Hub Stockholm is now offering a Virtual Office package for the first time. The plan allows companies or legal persons to register their business address at Impact Hub Stockholm so letters and packages can be delivered to the office during the summer. The Virtual Office plan includes our Digital Mailbox Service which means that all post is scanned and emailed directly to the recipient on arrival. Packages will be held for 7 days without charge and can be stored for longer periods.

As part of the Virtual Office plan, registered members can also take advantage of our Zoom account and book online meetings free through our Zoom Room. Much like a physical meeting room, the service is subject to availability but means that individuals no longer need to sign up for their own Zoom account in order to use the service. Members using the Zoom Room can invite up to 100 participants for sessions lasting up to 2 hours. They also have the possibility to record the session and live stream to Facebook or Youtube.

“The Digital Mailbox Service is something that we have been offering for over a year now. While these services are not new, we have combined them in a new way to create the Virtual Office package. The financial situation is tough for many, so we are doing what we can to help entrepreneurs and small business owners to continue operating during the holiday period, even if they choose to spend a few weeks elsewhere.”

We know that some things are difficult to do online so we are also offering a standard 25% discount on physical meeting room bookings. The Virtual Office package is available on a 1-month or 12-month plan and includes all of the benefits of Membership with Impact Hub Stockholm, including access to our global network to find new business opportunities, as well as pro-bono and discounted services from our support partners.
